Welcome to SideChat ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our random chat service at sidechat.up.railway.app (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By using SideChat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service.
ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years of age to use SideChat. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from or direct any of our content specifically to anyone under the age of 18.
SERVICE DESCRIPTION
SideChat is an anonymous random text chat platform that connects users with strangers for one-on-one conversations. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties.
USER CONDUCT
When using SideChat, you agree to:
Be respectful and kind to other users
Not engage in harassment, hate speech, or discrimination
Not share personal information (names, addresses, phone numbers, etc.)
Not share explicit sexual content or nudity
Not engage in illegal activities
Not spam, advertise, or promote commercial activities
Not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
Report inappropriate behavior immediately
You agree NOT to:
Use the Service for any illegal purpose
Harass, threaten, or harm other users
Share content that is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit
Share content involving minors in any inappropriate context
Share copyrighted material without permission
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the Service
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service
Collect or store personal data about other users
CONTENT
All messages and interactions on SideChat are anonymous and temporary. We do not store chat content permanently. However, we may log metadata (IP addresses, timestamps, connection data) for security, moderation, and legal compliance purposes.
You retain ownership of any content you share, but you grant SideChat a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and transmit such content as necessary to provide the Service.
MODERATION AND ENFORCEMENT
We reserve the right to:
Monitor and moderate content for violations of these Terms
Remove content that violates these Terms
Suspend or ban users who violate these Terms
Report illegal activity to law enforcement
Cooperate with legal investigations
We are not obligated to monitor all content but may do so at our discretion.
REPORTING
Users can report violations using the "Report" button. Reports are reviewed, and appropriate action will be taken. False or malicious reports may result in account suspension.
PRIVACY
Your use of SideChat is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect minimal data and do not require registration. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your information.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, features, and functionality of SideChat (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by SideChat and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

In no event shall our total liability exceed $100 USD.

Illegal activity

CHANGES TO TERMS

DISPUTE RESOLUTION
